So, one of our wedding gifts was a gift card to American Furniture Warehouse. Wow...you can get lost in that place! After about 1-2 hours there, we decided to purchase a black coffee table. Luckily, Paul is the best husband and HAPPILY put it together....with Baxton's help of course :)
I finally remembered that I received a couple of aprons and decided to put it to use! I am LOVING being a wife and wanting to make Paul happy....so I decide to try new things for dinner. I've never made pork chops before, so I thought this would be a perfect time to start. I made pork chops that were basted in oil, basil, and garlic powder. MMMMMMMM...it was good! And for desert, we decided to try our new brownie pan. Yup....totally worth it. AMAZING brownies!

Here it goes...
Hello all! Everyone else that we know has a blog and so since we are married, we feel like we should join in on the fun.
This should be interesting, especially in the beginning.
Well, Paul and I have been married almost 3 weeks now! We are absolutely loving being married and just enjoying every second with one another. We were unable to go on a honeymoon because Paul had to go back to training the day after we got married (boo). BUT, we are going on a 2 week "honeymoon" the end of July to Florida and then to New York to visit Paul's family before he deploys in August.
For those of you that do not know our story very well, Paul is in the Army and will be deploying to Afghanistan in August for a year. This will be SO incredibly hard for us, but we have NO DOUBT that we will make it through because we have God at the center of our lives. While Paul is gone, Sara will continue working as a Massage Therapist and keeping herself busy to make the time go by faster. Their dog, Baxton, will keep her company while Paul is gone.
Please keep us in your prayers in the future! We can never have too many people praying for our marriage and for Paul's safety. Thanks! :)
